Ricky Hunt is pleased (and slightly terrified) to announce
his brand new Work-in-Progress show
Pov’ to Less Pov’
is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025.

Venue: Bar 50 – The Snug
Time: 13:15 (that’s 1:15pm, babes – a civilised hour)
Dates: All festival long (minus a few days where Ricky will cry into an omelette)
Runtime: 45 minutes
Tickets: Pay What You Want (because art is for everyone – even if you’re skint)

ABOUT THE SHOW
From a surreal Essex upbringing on a cat-infested farm (thirty cats, one red carpet, and a coal fire that glowed with maternal rage) to the fake cobbled bliss of Walthamstow Village, Ricky’s on a queasy journey from poverty to prosecco.

It’s an hour of camp storytelling, operatic confusion, and working-class WiFi trauma. Expect Ryanair rants, haunted omelettes, posh people rituals disguised as opera, and the emotional cost of a hotel buffet sausage.

Yes, it’s a Work-in-Progress.
But so is Ricky. And frankly, so is Britain.

Sample jokes? Don’t mind if we do:

  • “Ibiza? It’s like Las Vegas shagged Clacton and dropped their mutant shame-baby in the Med.”

  • “Mum once painted the whole living room red. We called it ‘Hell’. She called it ‘feature wall’.”

  • “Opera in the UK is like Midsommar in tuxedos. You watch one act, get drunk, and return to cry at a soprano who might be your GP.”

Come for the chaos. Stay for the unexpected tenderness.
